AND HOW I'M GOING TO ATTARCT THEM.
Ideally, the audience I want to attract would be those who have a familiarity with the Punk-Rock and Glam-Rock scene and so would understand more clearly the choices I have made in the music video. However, I understand that the scene is not mainstream and so I will need to adapt intertextual references to pop culture and what is currently trending for a wider audience.

Alternative Tribes would be the most ideal audience for the music video as they chose to move themselves away from mainstream music and towards more underground artists. Alternative members value the desire to be different and unique with their identity and appearance and so will relate to the emphasis on gender and sexuality expression.
Additionally, Alternative members idolize ‘authenticity’ in music and the artists. They will support their artists in multiple ways with purchasing merchandise and watching gigs as they tend to have an obsession with music.
Young people, as a whole, prefer brands that are more openly fluid and socially active. They idolize brands that are willingly active in fighting social norms and advocating for equality for all. Young people are able to engage more with brands that align with their own social beliefs - and 77% of young people prefer brands that focus on solutions to issues they relate to rather than simply selling a product or lifestyle.

NAME: Sophie AGE: 20 INDENTIFIES: Female NATIONALITY: British
Sophie is a member of the Punk community as well as the LGBTQIA+ community. As the Punk community is heavily male-dominated, Sophie actively supports and encourages Female Rockstar's, that are fighting social norms by defying social norms. As Sophie is a Gen-Z Scorpio, she appreciates honesty and realism with her musical idols.
SOPHIE: 'The issue with artists nowadays is that they see themselves as products rather than actual people, so they change what they do and how they act to fit into their product. A lot of these "products" avoid discussing or addressing any serious topics out of fear that they will ruin what they've created. That's why a lot of younger people like me prefer artists that are more down-to-earth and more effective in addressing and supporting social issues. They don't hide from the ugly truth and that is how they gain more respect from younger people'.
SOPHIE: 'The world is adapting and changing every day, modern society is more accepting towards people that present themselves however they want to. That doesn't mean that prejudice towards those who are "different" no longer exists - because it does. That's why younger people, who are the most lenient, love artists that are expressive and don't restrict themselves. That's why younger people love artists that encourage others to join them and express who they are with their clothes, their make up, their music and be who they are with no limits'.
